My house, built in 2001, came with unsatisfactory, really wimpy low flow toilets and showers. Several years later my gym opened, and their low flow shower heads were an improvement over the ones at my house. Recently, however, they replaced all them with new ones from Oxygenics. I fell in love with them instantly. They feel like the old days, when a shower meant a great, gushing stream of water. It had been a long time since I enjoyed my shower so much.

When I took a look at the Oxygenics web site, it was easy to see how the gym benefitted when it replaced of all the old fixtures. Federal government regulations require that shower heads use no more than 2.5 gallons of water per minute. Some Oxygenics products draw on as little as 1.5 gallons per minute and still feel like they have superior pressure.

The picture that most closely matches what the gym installed has a way to control the flow and uses 2.0 gallons per minute. The gym is open every day all day and night, so not paying for half a gallon of water every minute that someone is taking a shower must save a bundle of money. Giving a better shower experience to its users is a nice bonus.
